We will all have to settle for occassional updates every couple of months or so. Anything more will be icing on the cake :) </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>The kids are doing great in school. Everyone has finished their extra-curricular activities for the season, which turned out to be very fun....and very busy! Next up....swimming and gymnastics (and maybe soccer for Regan). We have a big 6 year old birthday party (2 parties actually)coming up this weekend at the bowling ally. They are so excited! I cannot for the life of me believe that they are turning 6 years old!!! That is when I start watching videos and get so emotional. Remember this video? <a href="http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=83cfa301eb5c82226fd3d8&skin_id=701">http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=83cfa301eb5c82226fd3d8&skin_id=701</a></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><div>I am so proud of how far they have come!!! I will try very very hard to post pictures from the party! For now, here are some recent favorites!</div><div><br /></div><br /><div>We were very sad to say goodbye to sweet Ellie a couple of weeks ago. She was 12 years old and became very sick. She is already missed terribly. We have her ashes on the mantle (for now) with a pawprint mold and a statue that Mark altered to look like her. It was very difficult to find a "breed" to represent Ellie. She was one of a kind :)<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410101065542065330" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA_1Pk9Lprk8axX_pYDgyhp4NaxoksKlMq_0__ihDnv0CGVzyOgFiyKDYBqbLj_EJMTAjfpzgKJl2lF_SFEjIZve6XH71UBGbRsb1IXnLLwJfq10AUUmDpmxArW7ItpYLhcX2jc21fprGt/s320/122.JPG" border="0" /><br /></div><div>Love, Wendy</div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Crazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-25452393695422022032009-09-25T20:48:00.013-05:002009-09-25T22:13:55.198-05:00Let's try this again!<div align="center">The pictures loaded before the print, so if you would prefer to read first, scroll down and then come back to the pictures. I am still having a hard time learning how to upload pictures easily. They always upload backwards too....so the ones you see first are the most recent. One day, I will get it straight. I thought I might try another go at it....we will see how long I can keep it up! </div><br /><br /><div>So much has happened in the last 5 months!! Regan and Dylan graduated pre-school, a long summer of swim team, pool parties, hanging out and staying up late, Adam turned 3 years old, a family vacation to Destin, FL, Adam started pre-school (again), Regan and Dylan started KINDERGARTEN, Dylan signed up for year-round swimming, Regan is now a cheerleader, and Adam and Dylan are paying tee-ball!!! Whew. I am sure I have left several things out, but that is a summary. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Our newest adventures are cheerleading and tee-ball. Regan cheers for the Sampson Seahawks (her elementary school) flag football team. They are simply adorable. We just got their uniforms, so the next game I can post pictures of them all decked out. Adam and Dylan are both signed up to play teeball (different teams - age), but neither have started yet. First practices are coming up. This should be very interesting, and fun! Dylan's team is the Astros, but we don't know Adam's team name yet. </div><br /><br /><div>So far school is going great. Adam is doing so much better this year (vs last year when I had to pull him out). He goes straight into the class and sits at his seat to start his art project for the day. Most of the time, there is no crying. He is growing up fast. Regan and Dylan are also enjoying school. They are in different classes, but they go to P.E., art, and music together. They also eat lunch at the same time and are on the playground together. Both love their teachers and have received great report cards home!!! They are very tired by the end of the day, and crazy tired by Friday.<br /></div><br /><div>Mark won a trip to Cabo through work (sales), so we leave for a much needed vacation (just us) in a couple of weeks. I am getting very excited, but it is stressful leaving the kids. There is so much to pull together and so many lists to make, etc. I should probably start now. </div><br /><br /><div>I will try my best to keep this updated. I know I have said that before...several times. For now, I will just leave you with pictures.<br /><br /></div><br /><div>Love, Wendy</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /></div>Crazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-11681906726419857892009-04-10T21:48:00.008-05:002009-04-13T21:15:30.045-05:00Avon Walk For Breast CancerWe did it!! Julie and I walked 39.3 miles in 2 days. The Houston walk alone raised over 1.8 million dollars. WOW!!! We had a great time and met some amazing people. We stayed at The Westin Galleria Friday night before the walk, and went to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Yummy!! We met the NICEST couple at dinner. We ended up sharing a table, as they were "crewing" the walk. Donna is an RN and worked on the medical team at various stations throughout the walk. Tony worked the "clean-up crew" helping to take down the stations as the walkers passed through. They are hilarious, and we had such a wonderful time meeting them!<br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323262673046116066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw0bcvU_ypvqlbEjUE9usCw5r7oBAVtr0obzQ45KRkOnfo83TiYHEp_2NtVRC1_ZYVrHCcvTdaMDHOv6MkzxvIy_0vzC4KB5KpivUHACOsxEoyZMPft5iiLZSgvM7iv8TgeVMMe15foy4l/s320/DINNER%2520040309%5B1%5D.JPG" border="0" /> Tony, Wendy, Donna, Julie</div><p></p><br /><p>We got a great night's sleep and were up at the crack of dawn Saturday morning to catch the bus over to the opening ceremonies at Stude Park. We were trucking along at the front of the pack, feeling great. We made it to the lunch stop at 9:30am. It was not until about mile 17 or 18 that things started getting a little uncomfortable. I had blisters that wrapped around the back of my heels. They did not feel good. By mile 23, I was walking on my toes. Julie did great!!! She didn't get blisters at all. Teach me to go buy BRAND NEW SHOES 2 days before a walk. I know, stupid. Anyway, we finished the marathon walk with 3 other amazing walkers. One young man, Mickey, is a 23 year old graduate from The University of Michigan working in Houston at Shell Oil. He was so sweet. The kind of guy that I hope Regan grows up and meets. His mother passed away last year from breast cancer, and he took it upon himself to raise the money and walk the Avon Walk all by himself. He was even a "Champion Fundraiser". Great guy!! The other 2 were a mother/daughter team. They were so sweet and kept us going. It really helped to have a support team there to keep pushing you. We were so tired and hurting those last 5 miles or so, it was entertaining. We just kept laughing at ourselves. The funniest line was "How are you doing, Mickey?" "Oh, I'm fine, I am just trying out different limps to see which one works best". I was so true of everyone. I guess you had to be there. :) Not so funny in type.</p><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323268070065162226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhobwGHOoustRzBF8I3pozeACS9jCpkE-EwMN6ZPsNHxiRl9IrsLb1QfaAnFTencuCuEAhvukumE3HwvuC3UDBf1rW06JTsyhBsQg1gYMM2Nr6tm3Ei-ZhkMtC6Fal_XiogS5OuYXJYUXp/s320/157.JPG" border="0" />Just 2 more miles to go....the smiles are FAKE....we are HURTING!!!!<br /><br /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5323268068178234130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9DZf5afsTtFwqcyamnpLrW_kZlH_ojQ_NMpPwm_-Potbg-uJvGGQD53ArHFIGftQzAW_LIrO-cCdKqJzHuQTnhXlPFShISsi7gKwe7uolG6wR0Xu3M-Anup8JxMTBqNbJHvxGTM2ebnH7/s320/161.JPG" border="0" /></p></div></div><p>WHOO HOO!!! I realized that I have very few pictures of me pregnant with Adam. I guess juggling two 2 year olds during the pregnancy did not allow for many photo shoot opportunities. Anyway, the beginning of the video is an attempt to show what the pregnancy was like. <br /><br />Overall, I think it turned out great. I love the songs. I will treasure it forever!!!<br /><br />Enjoy!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=8413e377a85deabe0640e3&skin_id=701&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=image" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.onetruemedia.com/cover_thumbnail?p=8413e377a85deabe0640e3&view=2" border="0" alt="View this montage created at One True Media" title="View this montage created at One True Media" /><br/>Adam Cade 2006</a>Crazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-39031978507576457802009-03-10T22:47:00.004-05:002009-03-11T07:33:21.507-05:00Keepsake video #1 finished!!!I have been wanting to make a keepsake video of the pregnancy and birth of all the kids. I finally got around to it the other day and now that I have completed one, I don't think it will be hard to make more! I love watching this...it brings back so many memories!!! Some of it I remember like it was yesterday, and other parts I barely remember at all.<br /><br />I have not figured out how to download video from our video camera onto the computer, but when I do, I will add the birth video to the movie. If you don't care to see me at my ABSOLUTE WORST, I would advise that you not click on the link! Don't worry...there is nothing graphic other than a pregnant belly. I just look horrible during the hospital stay.<br /><br />Adam's video is next!<br /><br />MAKE SURE YOUR VOLUME IS TURNED UP!!!<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=83cfa301eb5c82226fd3d8&skin_id=701&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=image" target="_blank"><img title="View this montage created at One True Media" alt="View this montage created at One True Media" src="http://www.onetruemedia.com/cover_thumbnail?p=83cfa301eb5c82226fd3d8&view=2" border="0" /><br />Regan & Dylan 2003</a><br /><br /><br />Love, WendyCrazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-21736279107632351782009-02-17T20:21:00.005-06:002009-02-17T22:20:57.664-06:00Disney was Great! We had a great time at Disney World! The drive there was not so bad. We stopped in Pensacola, FL after about a 10 hour drive and slept at a hotel. We were up the next morning at 8am and drove into Orlando. We went swimming as soon as we got there. The hotel was awesome!!! It was a time share resort Marriott. There were 4 heated pools!!! The kids were as excited about swimming as they were about the Disney parks. On day 1, we hit Magic Kingdom and covered only about 1/3 of the park. On day 2 we went to Hollywood Studios in order to meet the Power Rangers. That park was more fun than we anticipated it to be. Everyone had a great time. We went back to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday to see more characters (princesses, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto). Unfortunately, Regan was not doing good that day with her breathing, so we ended up leaving early. On Thursday morning, the boys went swimming while I took Regan to a CVS medical clinic. They gave her an antibiotic and recommended to continue breathing treatments. Later that day, we made our way back to Magic Kingdom for the night parade which was AWESOME!!! On Friday, we went to Animal Kingdom and did a safari....which was very cool! We left for Pensacola on Friday afternoon and arrived late that evening. We were up again by 8am for the long drive back to Houston. It seemed to take longer to get home than it did to get there...isn't that how it always is??? Overall, it was great!! The pictures are in random order, and this is only a few I pulled out. We took over 400 pictures and lots of video!! Enjoy!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBPZYQX-USa-6cy0NoNI_qz1oH2ZpZn2lrr2SzOlwkJuTl6lhjwknJT1WWNnYghsvPdpgfyVhI4K3O2589yozeY8DRA_0J0mPLVXEaTw1AhMPRz9ObT7hqXwG7gWFLv0B2AB0r32sJCFPP/s1600-h/February+2009+142.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303971978131545458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBPZYQX-USa-6cy0NoNI_qz1oH2ZpZn2lrr2SzOlwkJuTl6lhjwknJT1WWNnYghsvPdpgfyVhI4K3O2589yozeY8DRA_0J0mPLVXEaTw1AhMPRz9ObT7hqXwG7gWFLv0B2AB0r32sJCFPP/s320/February+2009+142.JPG" border="0" /></a> Adam was not a fan of the characters. I have new DS games, new movies, and new books, markers, crayons, coloring books, etc., all stashed away and ready to be pulled out at that first moment of boredom. The car seats have been washed, the car cleaned out, and most of the things that can be packed ahead of time is ready to go. Now the mental preparation begins :)<br /><br />We started this week out on a rough note. Dylan had a croup attack on Friday night. We ALMOST went to the ER, but managed to control it from home this time with steroids and breathing treatments and a long night in a steamy bathroom. He has been fine ever since, other than his normal asthma cough every now and then. THEN, Adam had a croup attack on Sunday night. Again, we ALMOST went to the ER, and we probably should have. He was the worst I have ever seen him, but we did manage to control it from home. I think I have built too much confidence from all of Dylan's experiences to handle things on my own. Have I ever told you how much I hate going to the ER? Anyway, I did take him to the doc on Monday and she put him on an antibiotic and gave him 2 steroid shots. On Wednesday, he went downhill again, and back to the doc we went. Have I ever told you how much I hate going to the doctor's office? Now he is on Tamaflu. Nice. My hope is that he gets better before Saturday, and nobody else gets what he has!!! Can I be that lucky???<br /><br />Regan has 2 loose teeth...she wanted me to add that in here. She wiggles them everyday. I guess I wouldn't go so far as to say they are "loose", but they do wiggle...a little. hee hee. She wants to lose a tooth so bad! I need to find some tooth fairy pillows soon.<br /><br />I don't have any new pictures to post, but I know I will have TONS when we get back next weekend. I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!<br /><br />Love, WendyCrazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-71377441975157408222009-01-25T22:41:00.007-06:002009-01-25T23:48:16.828-06:00So much is going on these days, I just don't know where to start. Too much has happened since my last post to back track, so we will just move forward! Mark and I both ran in the marathon this past weekend. He ran the full (26.2 miles) in 3 hrs 13 min and I ran the half (13.1 miles) in 2 hrs 45min. Yes, I finished before him and therefore accomplished my goal!! Whoo Hoo!!! Very sad that it was so close and he ran twice as far as I did, but hey...he is a natural, I am NOT!!! He enjoys running, I do NOT! <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295459796106898946" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNJUjIDAxhyPy7Zza2WnYENJlWG_fGV9mManldZ5QSYadOdp8ATDljwbHSiZ8zHQRoQ6ZAqXV2UGg0DRh4IwZlrzP4KTJrx6bApbKwbrmURqpfVVqW5C0VOorYglt24rBHcsaFl2uBRKQR/s320/117.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>The kids are all doing great! Knock on wood....NOW!! Regan is in dance classes now and she loves it. Her favorite is tap because of the shoes. Dylan is taking gymnastics and he is doing great. We moved them to the YMCA so they could both take classes at the same time instead of sitting and watching the other one. It has worked great so far. Adam is still doing mom and me gymnastics at Cypress Academy. He loves it. I am ready for him to be potty trained so that he can move to the pre-school class and I can just watch instead of participate. I know I will look back and miss those days, but right now I am ready for him to move on. Call me crazy. </p><br /><p>In other news, we will be taking our first Disney vacation in early February!!! I am so excited! I think I am more excited than the kids! We are driving (not too much looking forward to that part) so it will be a long trip for everyone. Mark wanted to run the Austin marathon this year which happens to be on Feb 15, the day after we get home from Disney World. He asked if I thought he would be too tired. I just laughed. Oh no, 2 days in the car with 3 pre-schoolers, 5 days walking Disney world with 3 pre-schoolers, 2 more days of driving with 3 pre-schoolers....I think he would be in great shape to run 26.2 miles the following day....don't you??? Hee Hee! I guess he is in for a rude awakening. After all, he works all day and does not spend ALL DAY with the kids very often, much less 9 days in a row! This should be fun.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295469167853013586" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvgPQ140hCLnUoTGEG2y5u4W1e2CNVFsyupce1exh_kcI1J8ZXTPvmXw-AHcPilcI2S68AFkoc2NFYywenZkkjdRGT8_aQMOE_DxxicjD8Ek2RY1wJbGYb1rO3iyQMWQ79VUcwqyluyij1/s320/109.JPG" border="0" /></p><br /><p>I started training for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer this weekend. The official walk is not until April, but it will be intense. The first day is a 26.2 mile walk, followed by a night in a tent, and then another 13.1 miles the second day. My friend, Julie, and I are doing this together to celebrate her being 10 years cancer free. So far, the hardest part has been the fundraising. I am required to raise at least $1800. in order to participate. Thank you so much to those of you who have already contributed. I really appreciate your support!!! We went to a launch party this weekend and it was so inspiring. We need to find a cure for breast cancer, soon. If you are interested in participating with us, or if you want to make a donation, click on the link below for more information! The kids were suppose to dress up like a nursery rhyme character, but mine did not want to participate. We had great ideas, like jack and jill, Mary had a little lamb, jack be nimble, etc, but none of them would wear anything fun. So we went as Regan, Dylan, and Adam. </div><div align="center"><br /><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /><br /></div><div align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258675992727097794" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdHHvUOSk7uiJ2cbSTgQ969sHc4pSusYY7hciJ936ZcfJifZTmbM4xEIO59b8b64CJDZX6tD_poV-RuLufR1fYg3mP26Fq6acowmToJg54l8-LlqB4D2125zT-YEVlWc3m847nC3xzJi1W/s320/041.JPG" border="0" /></div><div align="center">This is Adam and his new girlfriend. We were very lucky! Our house took a small hit, some up-rooted trees, a blown down fence (portion), and a broken window. Nothing very dramatic! We were without power for 3 days, but luckily my mom had power, so we stayed there. I did make the kids sleep in the guest bathroom under the stairs for fear of tornados. The wind was VERY loud and the windows did shake! It was scary, to say the least. </div><br /><br /><div></div><div><strong>School update:</strong></div><br /><div>Regan and Dylan are doing great in school! They never even mention being in different classes. I guess they get enough of each other at home :) Since the storm (and the 2 week break they had from school - week of illness, then week of post-storm cleanup) neither have had a problem going into class. They are both shy kids, so it takes a little prying them off my leg most mornings. The past 2 school days have been easy!</div><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Adam is still having a hard time adjusting to me leaving each morning. His teacher does say that he is getting better, but the first hour or so is all tears. It is pitiful to watch (through the one-way glass). </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div><strong>Marathon update:</strong></div><br /><div>My friend, Janice, and I are up to running 5 miles. This is amazing to me, simply because I am not sure that I have ever run 5 miles total in my life prior to starting this, much less all at one time. We are averaging an 11.5 minute mile. </div><br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250191067795463778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1-6cvIIL8T1q0GsDnZxwHWGc9G8QlX5f0gL37GJjPi1tqH9cRnApxZeS_qNEn-CGUbounSfRdT_Maci-0WN5l8Rs59bH4Fei_b4MmqLVumz1znO2QHBmMZWYA-cTaK5wMW-yosbiWftG0/s320/025.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Mark is running a lot more! He is suppose to run 17 miles one day this week. CRAZY!!! </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div><strong>Kids update:</strong></div><br /><div><strong><span style="font-family:verdana;">Regan</span></strong> - She is getting so big, so fast. She is still very petite, but has a huge personality. She weighs 34 pounds and is 40 inches tall. I know this because we had to visit the doc yesterday for a swollen foot and hand. She was biten by some mosquitos (VERY BAD sworms since the storm) and her foot and hand swelled up and bruised. The doc put her on steroids (for swelling) and an <span style="font-size:85%;">antibiotic</span> to knock out infections. It is much better today. Her vocabulary is amazing for a 4 year old. She will talk your ear off and asks a million questions every hour. She doesn't skip a beat when she is talking to you. Every word comes so easily to her. She knows exactly what she wants to say, and she says it. She is not the "girly" girl that I always thought I would have, but she is just like me...imagine that. I still get to dress her cute and make bows for her hair...for now anyway. I don't imagine that it will be that way for very much longer. I keep trying to convince her to take dance class, but she wants nothing to do with it. She prefers karate and soccer (not that there is anything wrong with either of those activities, they just don't wear tu-tu's). I am holding on to gymnastics as long as I can :) She is really good at gymnastics, and just got moved to a higher level class (her and Dylan both). Her favorite toy is the bug catcher that she collects worms, love bugs, and lizards in. She will spend all day outside digging in the flowerbeds for bugs. Nice. She is also a dog lover...hmmm, wonder who she gets that from? She gets up every morning and goes straight to the dogs to tell them good morning and feeds them. So sweet. She also loves helping take care of Adam. She plays the "mom" in our house, and the boys pretend to be her kids. It is so funny to hear some of the things I say! Her nickname is still "Princess", and it will be until she stops responding to it! </div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250191675423261426" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd7PduO_2LV5fXzrpKMKxf7033hcSXum2WmLeHre7ZuQa22VRKM9iHrB-TCl1Tp0x1dKzjIJmI8GhUvSYnKFsd_NaZa8BUaDWA1ASzQYCCCJOPrLKf73CFWSujktpqKQ-iamDYxvpfuX0v/s320/003.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250189103513933538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgALaR_xr-5grf-6y44JZm68k7nVlh5s3h7x-Q21fPjkJGyixB3-tLdnNRD0lX8067zUChbJME7DgntxR2NNTt4qaF16-2ZDg9-KUrDsI1RQqsokEq5DIiBlJxB-WryBVd_fxOKjdGutNhw/s320/026.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250195249244898850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBGKEVQHslE2EUa4THH1qtpNx-HCxL4Zgw9T6muXuU-Hb5G8a7YifOukvAre3RfLDDjOPirFYQoBRbCF-GrM3QiNcuUZBcmlR2hqAFWq3A0m7ekgPtytFFlOfan_Wth8XblZM-oL4NHp-Q/s320/022.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250195257463750466" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4Kobg49kGiWkEt_rXdVxZVoBwHGcT6PVqROz1N-Rfag3kyKls2LCYoFVsyrssmvXlROoQj7T6wDyVCYyGrTj0u3OGjnzux5nvFZOx2ATUG5mn5xb6K0h2WUHW05T6EOGZnX0wWmTZyOx7/s320/055.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><strong><span style="font-family:verdana;">Dylan</span> </strong>- He has passed Regan signifiantly on the growth charts. Last weigh in he was 40 pounds and 41.5 inches tall. He is still my sensitive child, very emotional and sweet. He is constantly coming up to me saying "I love you" for no reason. The latest thing is "Mom, you are the best". It sounds so grown up....Mom. He has started sticking up for himself a little more. He will get mad at Regan when so doesn't give him an opportunity to talk (A big reason we chose different classes this year). I love seeing that tougher side come out of him. His favorite activity is swimming...by far. He talks about it everyday. It doesn't matter if there is a hurricane outside, he wants to go swimming. He is very good at it too. He can stay under water forever. This is amazing considering how bad his asthma is. Even his asthma doc was impressed that he likes swimming. She said most asthma patients find it uncomfortable, and he is a "true asthmatic". Speaking of asthma, we have had a great summer...hospital free. Lets hope that this fall is just as health friendly to us! Dylan is getting better at wearing his glasses. I think he realizes that it is easier to see with them on. I do still find them in crazy places, but recently I noticed that he was putting them on without me asking him too. That is a huge step! He is the best big brother to Adam! They will play and wrestle until I make them stop for fear of someone getting seriously hurt. I always call Dylan "D", but he has recently asked me to not call him that. It is so hard to stop...it just comes out of habit. His nickname is "Handsome", and I am sure that one will have to go too. I will continue using it until he asks me to stop :(<br /></div><div></div></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250189109426940578" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf95sWp69mI9mpG8o_YfwWVMFxvBKb8gbwFraXUSS5yFxav8UEk5RYN3z8Qqe907Ix6loyDz7PHPnhloGUFi1EPG7OBHPuCyrU0kwwTZI8CY09aNciIQHVypCTinXUYCkPw5xjhsmuTD90/s320/041.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250191681524695730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSOO_4WDP3ShBi-jqDzQqUox4jd-H_Z4izLo4z53BDcoMniCjVzgOVfnmZi-uj70FU-LxKhcIJrX6eGI7eFJRwSs6x8pn4Egn15jd6LuulDXZBJzTaKwnFGz5AMM0iPPiWu9ZmcxdGmtbG/s320/007.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250191079493049714" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZhpQ8eU5e-LXknh9Q_kDSpqTJjbNyNQ83zCbykZIPalpgOI8w4WZN0Rs5hdH9KJ2hZNH0kmEAvzD277N1f7gVuEYGE1csIHJT_kwqjy1KsMzBcqHyKMGqzk8bAdyAUuChyphenhyphenS-4EWhzpmLx/s320/076.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250191063568411458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj08_xOrO8K3TwqWzEVWfF8DOb4GZaAi0vgOe2Qy1UnYzgWQyOsNQzS0u1aYNd1Lz8tVd3pCsLEViaLotEgaJw83cY6Ib_aOZp9tUY_SvaymTDSF-HjfYNDe6Wxr-gdCkkARMmAvkKZ1Kk2/s320/056.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"><strong>Adam</strong></span> - Crazy man. I think he is around 24 pounds, but no idea on the height (yes, he is the 3rd child). He is quite the character. He loves anything relating to a ball. Baseball, football, basketball, soccer, golf....you name it. He is also very good at hitting, kicking, throwing, swinging, etc. All of the neighbors are convinced that he will play pro sports one day. How often do you see a 2-year-old dragging a baseball tee, baseball bat and ball out of the garage, down the driveway, and into the cul-de-sac to play ball with the big boys? It is so cute. I will have to get a pic one day soon! He is in a big boy toddler bed now and we are attempting potty training. I know he is physically ready, just not interested yet. He is still attached to his paci and the famous "rags" that Regan introduced him to. Adam is also a very picky eater. It is a job just getting him to eat. He is very small for his age. He looks a lot like Regan and has a very similar personality. He is VERY independent and knows how to throw a good tantrum. Hard headed to say the least. He also has a sensitive side to him (in his momma's boy mode) and will cuddle and say "I wuv you mommy". So sweet! He also LOVES gymnastics! whoo hoo!! (but so did Regan and Dylan at this age!) The coaches keep telling me that he will go into an advanced preschool class when he graduates from mommy and me class (3-yrs-old AND potty trained). He likes to help Regan dig for bugs and play monster with Dylan. I love that the 3 of them are so close in age, they really do play well together (most of the time). His nickname is "Monkey" and it fits him perfectly. He will climb ANYTHING...you name it, anything. His goal is to be up higher than anyone else in the room. Crazy kid.</div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250191073346996818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMkI89R7dGvdNqMqiR3aXYaNxyBvewR8YjLHZGyD2U9bK_txiPe2_UE0k1Q07foa8OXU0gd_dtKh_zDGBz06Hy9jxVP_QWRaiaf76gae82m_LeCfeSLyy990wEqpWB8lHh9oEH8uxe_sbb/s320/063.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250189104300650930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwCnzKdpVg5FYKFh9P3mvXeiqJTpZDTsL736OJwtLi2d-HCxQPuLPvynB1C5iw1TRFXRk8JOfXnf6nEsQYDfMT_-YoOXeLmSoZoxXNESq9S5O4Vba93mY50b-VDE0SzqICQvPULvPvCc_j/s320/024.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250189108984087330" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjHb8rXcif3q1_G9thM3VsyzuXo4TmlkxiZVUeUodE-9xJrQHFf685Vvhjj6AEC9Vc3ajVNRX6kZRI-Ih5xxM1N0-of9zgYPh_EShxL07kAcDYSHDAhO3s6carHQkMgPbdyTJBIYHuNQ-W/s320/037.JPG" border="0" /> <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250195256351404114" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivu_rDPmoNbLRIIpQyfBVazs4rOQ1JM8Oyj8EOtMcbc2G7JO5u4TeAQBJXSC1oPleAQ9V6KuH51StgVmbVNPC7SAGUEJ2zZsZHpexNNkB0hOxSRV9jL03RSs2L57oGIwlAAIevpylfjw4x/s320/033.JPG" border="0" />This picture should be an advertisement pic for those saftey nets across your driveway to prevent kids from running into the street!!! Adam was clueless about what was going on, he is used to dropping Regan and Dylan off at school, then coming home with Mom. We dropped Adam off first, and he went right in to blow bubbles with his teacher. I was able to put away his stuff, sign him in, and talk a little to the teacher aide before I went over to tell him goodbye. I said "Mommy's going now, I will see you later okay?" He said "Okay momma". As I started to walk away, he followed saying "wait mommy, wait". I told him to go blow bubbles with your friends, and I will see you later". He said okay and went to blow more bubbles. We left for Dylan's room. </div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239329964409099250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIKLRcrLMmZwNpHtOaM0uMP_v5K84xyDXCC8KvklUMnZ6z6kzRRQhOKfPN0P_-PXDQOWODY0vObmkTnUjU1OL6QmXgP20EswHDeCijL87RqdCY8sSCcPUjOGkj1TMxqNCz17-PJxZGGSn9/s320/first+day+of+pre-school+062.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Dylan froze at the door. I had to about shove him into the room. He was very quiet and withdrawn, but no tears. I told him I would be back right after rest time, and he said okay. He didn't want to sit at the table, so his teacher aide came and sat with him to help him write his name. He seemed fine when we left for Regan's room.</div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Regan stayed attached to my leg the ENTIRE time I was unpacking her stuff. We met a couple of friends and talked to the teacher a little, but she was not budging. I had to pry her off of me while she cried and I gave her to the teacher. She always has a hard time in the beginning, but experience has shown that she is fine after a while. </div><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>As I walked out the front door of the school, I felt a huge sense of relief, a little sadness, and a lot of trust in the school and teachers. St John is by far the BEST preschool. I just can't say enough about it. Regan and Dylan have been there since they were 18 months old, so everyone knows us well. It feels like family.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>When I went to pick them up this afternoon, I thought I would start with Regan since she had the hardest time this morning. She was still napping, and the teacher said she had a GREAT day! She cried for about 5 minutes and then was fine the rest of the day. Same story with Dylan. He had a GREAT day, but did shed some tears after I left earlier. He was fine after a few minutes. </div><div> </div><div>Adam was a different story. He was in the teachers arms when we got there, and apparently had been in her arms most of the day. She said "he really missed you mommy". The teacher was able to distract him a little on the playground to watch the birds, and then again at lunch, but that was it. Poor baby was so sad. His voice was hoarse and his eyes were so red. Friday is going to a rough drop off. Hopefully it will get better with time. His teachers are great, so I know he is in good hands.</div><div></div><br /><br /><div>When we got home, we celebrated with some ice cream cone cup cakes. Everyone was in a great mood before we even drove up the driveway (3 minutes from the school). I think we will all sleep good tonight.</div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239332567474426338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfYmFEsrA3nBohBthxdmROSuRUDJ_9bR8e0qzkpNwCkhPRKIa-M-tad1fhgkYPFNPr1XlwNZmjeWPTV55pimxcd-oDZ_MZ9UeU8dY0wjmNWeLjjO2k51OiUjQdj1IdxK6BrVuYDByJWG3O/s320/first+day+of+pre-school+068.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239332574275346930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuu0jWtKkeLbdi9IBOpuuVto9y9APmb9hviz72zpuK0OljnodjquMcSELCHiyLe0qcaPbpklZjC_AE5kV4ijKYfeIFZccsP_slUo8itB4K3l1LqGk1FJckRCkm71l_JRlmy8ept7e3-bbf/s320/first+day+of+pre-school+073.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239329979316783234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHrij3i4puHlZ1BGGnWgcKkO2FO8O1CFImESVaDzrYpQ1qBKz0nGWwIYAejMJpgX3HQP7jGn6WsmjeEGIkbu1FgNFSUG7B0L-EOARUh6wdW84g4CaPrBI9ChbTbZJnTFVSeX7g4ea9qM75/s320/first+day+of+pre-school+067.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5239329969855006866" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw8SWcxBJdAXUzFeXh2Lr3vekBg_E0hcRSkhD9fweq11I6pMMLK9ASEOUGRZIeAB2vR4qOQ6MudJkPMpDqjn1ypbMiyLA-SezCNz0WgQQJCCBc75HBJscafm6v7-mrCpJuL0hSicMU2z_j/s320/first+day+of+pre-school+064.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div></div><br /><p> </p><p>Love, Wendy</p>Crazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-55102533540374718192008-08-24T21:41:00.010-05:002008-08-24T22:10:49.927-05:00Meet the Teachers!Tonight was meet the teachers at the kids preschool. They did such a great job! I read the teacher cards to them on Friday, letting them know that Regan and Dylan would be in different classes, and they didn't really even flinch at the thought. Dylan has said once that he wants to be in Regan's class, and after tonight, Regan mentioned that she wanted to be in Dylan's class, but no fits, crying, drama...you know....the typical Yamasaki kids reaction. I was SHOCKED, to say the least. I guess it was more my anxiety than theirs....THANK GOODNESS! Let's hope and pray that Wednesday goes equally as smooth! Enjoy the pics!<br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238281661339917602" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3sWo0y9mReeR0Rz-prJq7DFV3PyHICE3pWoGSzu3rx9gnqTsDHqFvPGpBFdtuM99aOgtgO8UI4dsY9RN4dRtVNCEg4fAHH3T-fijyu0LisE8BZK_aviMWIEg0WJhX7S9Aii9xdVRZLJlW/s320/022.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238281935960389602" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhr1YpAziGQwai62sAyXM7pblzNWoLUpFy3Kg_NzFKwz31PPJcFEDwZ3cb5c7oZ-E8oa-X0ybDRKN0rQ4HNAm2Ku2i3erhVYxLvgTG_WwpMKwwHuKRVF9rUFigIVzRjsd6LaTL2DzSoMRO4/s320/028.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238282164455976530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYSx2sKJzWus6DFgCByfLAOVUs-VEKlvC6HCpYzEGGqn9IsavRzXTdC3g6iirYyF_OaodNChWjL8GUXorLIVD5Juf7oThUOERXgc5V7s2H-9hxBVvMdIyoJ3nmIGhARzVFb2aj49jo8j6E/s320/035.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238282696890722642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkbhZxsj7eYXFdjPh6cuXcJcMujewFyx-Gh33rqJDYVcBFeLkgGZro4QQ3lGuKsMmGixy_UEWzpb7OUspcarOJJlbe46WjAPcRwP31LDo7OHOeY3vVrPb-vKxFejG7kfwpL205l5W-ojT9/s320/054.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238282969907646466" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3KhUwHxs8HVJSA2b1KhCr2Y2ZormhDvXAJ_BGL5Gr-qlroS7Z2OWBA870_lf_ogcLZvVpHJ8ezj9Fj397rkvdOQZUwK9_9xGTHcTh-f0i1labLrMWZAT49Gh6MsmrW_Uw8NT772-Zx1mi/s320/050.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />Tomorrow evening we have our first Free Trial TaeKwanDo class. It should be very interesting. They keep talking about karate, and practice kicks on each other (I know, scary!), so I figured this might be the route to take. The hard part for them will be deciding which sport they want to continue with, Karate or gymnastics. Adam will stay in gymnastics because he LOVES it, and he is too young for TaeKwanDo. I will keep you updated with their selection.<br /><br />I ran a little over 3 miles this morning, and about died. I am starting to think that this is an awful lot of pain and exhaustion just to say I ran a "half marathon". I told my friend that if we were running the FULL marathon, it might be worth it.....she said "well, we just wouldn't be alive at the finish line to tell anyone that we ran a full marathon!" She is so right. As I was STILL struggling this morning after my 3 miles of torture, Mark came be-bopping in the house after his 9 mile run. And, he even goes when I get home, which makes it harder because it is hotter outside by then. I am not giving up, just venting. It has got to get easier. On the brighter side, I do feel healthier and more tone than before I started running. Next weekend will be 4 miles...wish me luck!<br /><br />Take care!Crazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-36604168432718617472008-08-15T16:58:00.012-05:002008-08-15T23:45:29.437-05:00Staying busy this summer!<div align="left">Last weekend we went to Austin to spend time with Dave, Kim, Cole & Ryan. Everyone had a great time playing the Wii, X-box, DS, Rock band hero (or whatever they are all called!) Dave has it all!! Now mine want it. Thanks! We woke up bright and early Sunday morning and made our way to The Schlitterbahn! Whoo Hoo! Of course, when you are with my brother, you are organized...so we were early and were able to ride several slides before the crowds hit. Dylan was brave enough to take on the body slides (soda straws) and another I don't know the name of. We all rode the tube shute ride, and Adam was less than thrilled. He cried the whole way down, and unfortunately, I couldn't do anything about it until we made it to the bottom. Regan on the other hand, laughed the entire way. She loved the tube slide. Most of the day was spent at the smaller kid areas. Thanks to Dave and Kim, Cole and Ryan for a GREAT time! </div><div align="left"> </div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">On our way out of town, we stopped to visit a couple of long lost friends - Anna and Darrell. Anna and I were roommates/sorority sisters in college. It was great to see them and catch up while all 3 of mine and one of hers slept.<br /><br /></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">This week we are trying to get ready for back to pre-school! I am SO READY to have a few days to myself each week. I think I will sleep for the first couple of weeks, and then start on all the projects I have planned. It is amazing what can be done in 5 hours without kids in the house! Regan and Dylan will be going into separate classes this year. I have yet to tell them that part...I think it is best to wait until the day before "meet the teachers". I know that if I tell them now, they will spend the next week stressing over it and building up a fear of starting school. It is the best decision for them (to be in different classes), and I have no doubt that they will be okay with it eventually. </div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">Mark and I will be enjoying a much needed trip to Puerta Vallerta (sp?) at the end of the month. With all of the traveling he did last year (4 days a week), he earned enough Marriott Rewards points for an all-inclusive vacation for the both of us. Had there only been enough points for one of us, I would have been lonely on the beach by myself! :) It was a rough year for both of us, so this trip will be a nice reward.<br /><br /></div><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left">I need to get back into the habit of taking pictures like I used to. Actually, I need to get a smaller camera to take with me in my purse. Mark would KILL me if he knew I was wanting a different camera after the investment he made in the one I have. But, realistically, I can't carry that huge camera with me everywhere I go. Any suggestions on a good purse size digital camera (not too pricey) would be great! </div><div align="left"><br /><br /><br /></div><div align="left"></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234961743025872082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoSj81KL0pxTjJtF6vy9e7HNQQ_hSknQRLn6MUuLRb1VOn4rsAuAtZtL9wglh_favln9tU30fE6BGW3kOrKvD6DNdijQ1emaTXaFTI3lmFBLA-FHrclO6F7UIQ8ErYKJvv_HO4jEaGxXjc/s320/DSC03381.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234962333883401826" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOCrMydLY3pSY8Z5-KqeuRTiTz3XAlnT9IyaYx22vnHfN_PhFQRKcfRcy6kFAghOr9tOIU2lxPxWon-s8rldrHdqJ7dPjNvTH5vBMUkSx-Nr8KoY-dCVpIsOv_Dk12KsH5q7SgV_QxPnRK/s320/July%2520020.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234964681328995186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4jaumwXclCZw9boTiN9yJDdn7X1JcjNz4PT0KAYuIGVKyOpwGA53kUCRs_1w7p-GTLWohcsjmv8xM835VzhsXm6mfZrxwg7BDfJxqdAGjuqLJrtq3S7dXGlBVE1X-RPOuMoTGGAQTCfyr/s320/045.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234966245382456594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX2BTI_BCb5swFTReWBV6jdyF5mB0mDWI7rGqA1c1c9-M5PEJOstG_oc04fsNYU5zSBpvlX8vmNjykLVA20KpsUlYdgEfg1Y-rnRqoifLhll5HTdx_VjlrVGYlkYBlIOIImLWjExZwM2Ty/s320/057.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234965124952649218" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJxYZEwTBwGWrLBXnOrEerlEMJLk0RBFvskb2ycr8A0bL8W2iWkWHUbNwhdBcE14ZeMyUJxN6EAs8Dp7eMqJD0IirCmLDhRiE96PG6IMeU0PvCx5nt3cFsiBj8QlAqr72apPtqs1udwqml/s320/040.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234966027548549634" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0kTXoG4mh946ECSY1zU4FdmCr8Ptyp4aig66ea6RV-NjpOjhm9Wso0MMFmbP9ZfMz2iRAlJqIcleSpQkn8SIW74JJ_xrdDbKkn4Om7ttwNIy53M_OGdtdDFycuuN6XWj-C1Orn_BbxoIW/s320/031.JPG" border="0" /></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5234964421535500194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4ec2tyqYoQyIYmHYR-x5ZPp1fbz7QTfa-nRSQaJ_UssdR8mB8BJWpqN039TWT1BHG1h27RTrdf_keoI3SE4KObhKAYArmzi2vZ93UoEf3MOJkm2rayL5WYey1G3QmYSKSS8Wk43zfIBp2/s320/003.JPG" border="0" /><br /><p></p><p>Last month, we celebrated my friend and neighbor's 40th birthday at a party down the street. I will try to get better!<br /><br />We spent about 4 hours yesterday at Noah's Ark splashpad and pool. The kids had a blast and boy was everyone tired (including mom). Adam found a slide that he could manage and was nonstop. He was like a machine...just going up and down, up and down. It was cute. He is getting so big so fast! On the bigger pool side, Dylan loved the diving board. He has learned how to dive and was busy impressing all the onlookers with his cute "first time diver" technique. Regan stayed true to form and stuck by mom most of the time. She did run off to play some with her friends from next door, but she wore out quickly and was ready to go home about an hour before everyone else. She is more like me, just likes to chill out by the pool and watch people.<br /><br />I would have brought my camera to take pics, but I had my hands full bymyself with 3 young kids, a cooler, each of their pool bags (that they were SUPPOSE to carry themselves) including towels, lunchkits, goggles, drink cups, and my bag. We are planning to go again before school starts, so I will bring the camera next time.<br /><br />In other less exciting news...Mark and I will both be participating in the Houston Marathon this year! Mark will be running the full marathon (26 miles) for the 4th time. I will be running the half marathon (13 miles) for the 1st time. My neighbor and I started training about 3 weeks ago by joining Cypress Fit (USA Fit). It is a marathon training program that has helped a lot. We are up to running 2 miles (I know, laugh) but it is getting a little easier. I figure that even if I can't finish it, at least I will be in really good shape by the time the marathon gets here (January 2009). Mark's goal to is beat his last year race time, mine is to finish in the alloted time :) He runs about a 7 1/2 minute mile, and I run about a 12 minute mile. He is crazy.<br /><br />Anyway, I guess that is all the latest and greatest. Take care!<br /><br />WendyCrazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-15349122820640590992008-07-16T14:02:00.000-05:002008-07-16T14:08:46.206-05:00Pirates<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibNAlUHzXVOs-1tieX6HKtc8RZ_fWqT8fU1DsVYnnE4PkqjuZXYmeXU5wU2W8ANUjO0ybqAAl30wbL8EPhyphenhyphenBI4sRcSZbLFmK5iVGiw8B00ZO0KzFiwgHvNzefZhCkY1q_3tcnd1XuOAuA3/s1600-h/106.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223690668004806914" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibNAlUHzXVOs-1tieX6HKtc8RZ_fWqT8fU1DsVYnnE4PkqjuZXYmeXU5wU2W8ANUjO0ybqAAl30wbL8EPhyphenhyphenBI4sRcSZbLFmK5iVGiw8B00ZO0KzFiwgHvNzefZhCkY1q_3tcnd1XuOAuA3/s320/106.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCT67iLTKpWy69ItaxODBVIz6L3ADNeo91oTzKIn6p0F9_tGC5zIq2PC3zxAqxwdTUQI0SsSGoY0QnZtgu-eA8mtNazmxZSKIbyloZlEv7jUpgza-9idSVbwmVo3vEP7ItxY9K_upOSppc/s1600-h/102.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223690412897310466" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCT67iLTKpWy69ItaxODBVIz6L3ADNeo91oTzKIn6p0F9_tGC5zIq2PC3zxAqxwdTUQI0SsSGoY0QnZtgu-eA8mtNazmxZSKIbyloZlEv7jUpgza-9idSVbwmVo3vEP7ItxY9K_upOSppc/s320/102.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>Regan and Dylan are really into Pirates right now. Or at least we won a great prize for our "triple wagon float" The kids were so excited, especially about getting to go shopping at Toys R Us!! I started slacking on the monthly Kodak Gallery photo albums, so I thought this would change things up a little bit. Feel free to save the link to your favorites, send it to friends, and check us out every now and then. I hope to update the blog at least a couple of times a week. <br /><br />My plan is to start posting about everyday happenings that I want to remember about the kids, and occassionally go back in time to post about big events such as births, past holidays, etc. Eventually, I want to have a "scrapbook" of the past 4 years and the future. We will see how this all works. <br /><br />Thanks for checking in!!!!<br /><br />Love, WendyCrazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1272775149496401460.post-79670044889909414922008-07-01T22:59:00.000-05:002008-07-01T23:15:30.968-05:00Testing<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj5AnMxO8gacE8KF2XYUJk7gWrrJPPyqOto50pPnce-ipgnwQkadPEecBeW55gcCn4FEo0MUclsVFNKEwkQDW2oJ77fk6YyXJ67ndLp-_OL0XwHnK-SuUPYzw6mEeHKpAi_tdfJa3uA6vL/s1600-h/120.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5218265387051897858" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj5AnMxO8gacE8KF2XYUJk7gWrrJPPyqOto50pPnce-ipgnwQkadPEecBeW55gcCn4FEo0MUclsVFNKEwkQDW2oJ77fk6YyXJ67ndLp-_OL0XwHnK-SuUPYzw6mEeHKpAi_tdfJa3uA6vL/s320/120.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>1 - 2 - 3</div>Crazy Kidshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10144660930679504199noreply@blogger.com0
